Not much to post this week. I got the shawl for mom done and sent in time. I added a cameo from Sarah Palin. Yes! That Sarah Palin. Mom loved it. I was very impressed.

My Bernina 450 is still in the shop. I never realized how “clunky” the Bernat is. To say it doesn’t have variable speed control is inaccurate. It all depends on how much you mash the peddle down. The problem, sometimes it’s like trying to learn how to drive a standard transmission. There are a lot of jump starts. Also, for some reason, I can’t get my thread tension right. I think I’ll have my 450 back this week. I hope.

I cut a shirt today, so I’ll take some photos and post you through the construction.
