Have I mentioned how tricky sleeves can be? Basically one has to line the concave and convex curves overlapping. The hardest part is keeping the fabric flat. If it rolls, folds, or catches a lot, one ends up with obvious crease folds along the seam. Because one is trying to bend the fabric from a two dimensional curve into a three dimensional curve; some rolling and folding is inevitable. The trick is to get the majority of them on the seam side of the needle (to the right of the needle). Generally speaking that will produce a nice flat seam line. Upon very close inspection, one may see little creases, but small ones are inevitable. The cuff end is another story, for another day.
